Since the start of the annual HazWaste Days event in 1993, the Missoula Valley Water Quality District started holding an annual HazWaste Days Event to collect household hazardous waste from Missoula County residents and the surrounding areas. Well we have great news to announce! We are saying goodbye to our annual HazWaste Days Event and hello to a new facility that will provide you with more options to drop off your household hazardous waste year-round. We anticipate this new location to be up and running sometime in 2023.

In the mean time, please keep an eye on this website for updates on the progress of this new facility. If you have items like old paint, used oil, or other household items you can visit ZeroByFifty for year-round disposal options.
